About Our Church...
Clear Creek Baptist Church (formerly Tatum Chapel Baptist
Church) has been ministering from this location for nearly one
hundred and forty years! We are a Southern Baptist church,
cooperating with the Greene County Baptist Association, the
Missouri Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist
Convention. Our purpose is to glorify God and continue the
mission of Jesus Christ by reaching and ministering to people.
We have a rich heritage of faithful service. Yet, bright as our past
is, our future is even brighter! We truly believe the greatest days
are ahead for Clear Creek!
We have a full range of ministries and opportunities for persons of
all ages. We believe every church member is to be a minister,
using the gifts and talents God has given for ministry. Our
vocational ministry staff is here to train and equip Christians to
minister in their community, and all around the world, as God
provides opportunity. We regularly provide Bible study, prayer, and
ministry groups, Christian life training, missions education, music
opportunities, worship and friendship.
Our intent is to be faithful to God and His Word while being relevant
to our world and the needs of today’s people. We will not water
down or compromise God’s message, but we are constantly
looking for better ways to convey that message to the world around
us. We make every attempt to carry out our mission in Christian
love and grace.
